Three paths along the walkway

Each programme begins with prerequisites, states hours per week clearly, and describes what it will not cover. No vague outcomes. No motivational language about careers.

Mathematics and Programming Bridge
9 weeks · 6–8 hrs/week

Mathematics and Programming Bridge

Linear algebra as it appears in training loops, derivatives that matter, probability distributions engineers actually reach for, and numerical stability. Written for graduates who stalled at the mathematics before model training.

  • 8 problem sets with worked solutions after submission
  • Weekly live sessions in Malaysian time
  • Office hours twice weekly
  • Low-bandwidth recordings available
RM 505 Enquire
Model Deployment and Serving Infrastructure
15 weeks · 10–12 hrs/week

Model Deployment and Serving Infrastructure

Containerisation, batching, quantisation, latency budgets, scaling under load, observability, cost accounting and rollback procedures. Suited to backend and platform engineers who have inherited a model and need to keep it running.

  • 13 assignments with code review on every submission
  • Load-testing exercise on learner's own service
  • Incident simulation with written post-mortem
  • Cost and carbon accounting session
RM 1,970 Enquire
Regional Cohort Residency
20 weeks · 15–18 hrs/week

Regional Cohort Residency for AI Practitioners

For practitioners across Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia. Each participant carries one substantial system from proposal to running service under supervision. Online with two in-person weeks included.

  • Dedicated mentor throughout
  • Travel and accommodation for in-person weeks
  • Fortnightly design reviews with external reviewers
  • Public technical showcase at conclusion

Why Gradientredf

What the programme structure gives you

Bandwidth-conscious delivery

Live sessions run in Malaysian time. Recordings are available at 360p with an audio-only option. The minimum connection requirement is stated on every course page.

Stated hours, not estimates

Each programme states expected hours per week before enrolment. No vague commitments. Engineers working full-time know what they are agreeing to.

Hardware ladder clarity

Documentation describes what exercises can be completed on a standard laptop, on a single GPU, and on the shared cluster — so you know before spending anything.

Problem sets with worked solutions

Solutions are released after submission, not before. You work the problem first. The worked solution explains where reasoning went right or wrong, not just the final answer.

Regional cohort, regional context

The residency includes a data governance module addressing consent and provenance in the Malaysian and regional context. Work is reviewed for ethical and deployment considerations.

Code you can run afterwards

Every concept in the mathematics bridge has a code implementation. Everything built in the deployment course runs on reproducible infrastructure the learner controls.

Questions

Before you apply

What background do I need for the mathematics bridge course?
You should be able to write working code in Python and have some familiarity with arrays and loops. High-school algebra is enough — the course does not assume undergraduate mathematics. A written readiness assessment at the end tells you where you stand for onward courses.
What if I miss a live session?
All live sessions are recorded. Recordings are available in full resolution and at 360p. An audio-only version is provided for low-bandwidth connections. Office hours are twice weekly, so there are multiple points to catch up with tutors.
Does the deployment course require cloud credits?
The course includes cluster and inference budget. Assignments run on infrastructure provided as part of the programme fee. You do not need a personal cloud account, though the course materials explain how to replicate the setup on your own later.
How are the in-person weeks for the residency organised?
Travel and accommodation for the two in-person weeks are included in the residency fee. Dates and location are confirmed with each cohort in advance. The in-person weeks focus on design reviews and system walkthroughs rather than lectures.
Are employer introductions part of the residency?
Introductions to employers are offered where relevant, as introductions. There is no placement promise and no claim about employment outcomes attached to any programme. The public technical showcase gives participants a record they can reference independently.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payment details are provided after an enquiry form is submitted. We accept bank transfer (Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank), FPX, and selected e-wallet options. Fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit. Instalment options are available for the residency — ask when enquiring.
What timezone are live sessions held in?
All live sessions are scheduled in Malaysia Standard Time (MYT, UTC+8). A time-zone table on each programme page shows the equivalent times in Singapore Time (SGT, identical) and Brunei Darussalam Time (BNT, identical) for reference.
